1:14 RC Volvo FH16 Abschlepper 8x4

Volvo es un actor de renombre en el mercado mundial de vehículos comerciales y una de sus marcas insignia es la serie FH que sufrió un cambio completo de modelo en 2012. Este kit de ensamblaje de R/C que recrea el modelo "FH16 Globetrotter 750 8x4" de ese camión de remolque de emergencia. El modelo tiene una cabina y una carrocería realistas, la primera con una rejilla frontal fotograbada y detalles interiores, la segunda abriendo puertas. Su fascinante mecanismo de remolque utiliza muchas piezas metálicas y el brazo del cabrestante, la plataforma y los estabilizadores se pueden mover manualmente. El motor TR Mighty Tuned (35T) montado en la parte delantera proporciona una amplia potencia a los dos ejes traseros, a través de una transmisión de tres velocidades. Los cambios de marcha también son posibles a través de los controles del transmisor y el modelo puede remolcar sujetos camiones tractores R/C a escala 1/14.

★Stainless steel photo-etched front grille parts add to the authenticity. Separately sold LEDs can be used to light the model up.

★Visor and roof lights are metal plated components for that extra touch. Escape hatch, antenna and so on are recreated in style.

★Both front axles are steered on this model, with a single servo used to turn the wheels. Wheels turn realistically at different angles.

★A look here at the base ladder frame chassis, which is a sturdy affair composed of aluminum side channels and resin cross members.

★The body of the truck is adorned with a light bar that is constructed using a clear orange case and can be lit up with separately sold LEDs.

★This is a close-up upon the winch boom, which features dual winches and cables depicted using 5 meters of string provided in the kit.

★Boom length and angle can be adjusted, the former up to an impressive 586mm long. The latter gives three different angles.

★The underlift can be extended and retracted, and features adjustable forks. It turns on a joint to enable smooth cornering.

★Opening doors on the body give a realistic look, and also allow access to install separately sold MFC and Actuator units.

★Outriggers are affixed via cap screws, which can be loosened to allow manual extension, and give a further layer of realism.

★This is a close-up on the rear suspension, where a trunnion setup is employed using metal leaf springs and friction dampers.
